Sono lieto di condividere che la lampada Velo, che ho avuto il piacere di fotografare per Budri, ha vinto gli Archiproducts Design Awards 2025 nella categoria Lighting.

Si tratta di un progetto raffinato e complesso, firmato dal designer Bruno Tarabella, che reinterpreta il marmo arabescato con leggerezza e coerenza formale, unendo artigianalità, sperimentazione materica e tecnologia.

Fotografare questo progetto è stato per me un percorso stimolante: ho voluto trasmettere con le immagini la leggerezza, la materia e la dimensione scultorea di un oggetto che — pur essendo un’opera di design — si distingue per forte identità artistica. Ho realizzato sia scatti di ambientazione che still-life, per valorizzare il marmo in diverse declinazioni visive.

Un sincero ringraziamento a Bruno Tarabella per la sua visione creativa e a Budri per la fiducia riposta nella mia fotografia. Il premio conferma come l’incontro fra talento, materia e immagine possa dare vita a qualcosa di davvero speciale.

The Velo Lamp by Budri Wins at the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards

I am pleased to share that the Velo lamp, which I had the pleasure of photographing for Budri, has won the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards in the Lighting category.

This refined and complex project, designed by Bruno Tarabella, reinterprets Arabescato marble with lightness and formal coherence, combining craftsmanship, material experimentation and technology.

Photographing this piece was an inspiring journey for me: through the images, I sought to convey the lightness, the materiality and the sculptural dimension of an object that — while being a work of design — stands out for its strong artistic identity. I produced both interior shots and still-life compositions to highlight the marble in different visual expressions.

My sincere thanks go to Bruno Tarabella for his creative vision and to Budri for the trust they place in my work. This award confirms how the encounter between talent, material and image can give rise to something truly special.
