World Sustainability Foundation’s Role as an Approved 1% for the Planet Nonprofit Partner
As an officially approved nonprofit partner within the 1% for the Planet global network, the World Sustainability Foundation (WSF) is now eligible to receive direct support from companies committed to environmental stewardship. These purpose-driven organisations pledge to contribute at least 1% of their annual sales to high-impact initiatives, ensuring their resources promote meaningful environmental projects led by the World Sustainability Foundation. This partnership provides the World Sustainability Foundation with greater opportunities to collaborate with businesses dedicated to sustainability and measurable ecological impact.
This collaboration brings together two organisations united by a shared mission: protecting nature, restoring ecosystems, and fostering long-term sustainability through collective action.
1% for the Planet connects businesses and individuals with vetted environmental nonprofits to build partnerships that strengthen the global movement for ecological protection. With more than 5,000 Members worldwide, the network ensures that philanthropic resources support organisations capable of delivering measurable and lasting environmental results.
As part of this partnership, the World Sustainability Foundation will gain access to new opportunities to expand its existing initiatives, including programmes established under its sustainability-focused brands Friend of the Sea and Friend of the Earth. These initiatives cover a wide range of activities.
