Testing in Arjeplog to Shape the Future of Autonomous Driving
From January 12 to 16, Easyrain brings innovation to the heart of the Arctic winter. Our team is in Arjeplog, Sweden, at the Colmis proving ground, for an intensive testing session together with Hyundai Motor Company.
An extreme environment defined by ice, snow, and ultra-low-grip surfaces—one of the most challenging test beds for assisted and autonomous driving systems. This is where future mobility technologies must prove their true readiness.
During these tests, we are validating our advanced solutions for ADAS and Autonomous Driving, engineered to keep vehicles under control even in conditions where today’s systems are typically limited or switched off. Critical scenarios such as sudden grip loss, unpredictable surfaces, and rapidly changing friction levels become the ideal ground to demonstrate the real-world value of Easyrain technology.
Autonomous driving cannot stop at an icy road.
These tests mark a concrete step toward a safer, more resilient mobility ecosystem—one that is truly ready for real-world deployment. Because the future of driving is not built only in simulations, but proven where conditions are toughest.
