COPERNICUS CIMR: KEY MILESTONE FOR THE PAYLOAD DEVELOPMENT - OHB-Italia

CIMR Project is part of the European Space Agency – ESA and European Union (EU) Copernicus program. CIMR Industrial Consortium is led by Thales Alenia Space Italia as Prime Contractor, with OHB Italia S.p.A. as Instrument Prime Contractor.

Recently CIMR has reached a very important milestone with the Kick-Off of the Instrument Critical Design Review (CDR), a key step to confirm that the Instrument design has reached the level of maturity required to proceed towards the manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing of the flight hardware.

OHB Italia S.p.A. was really proud for this achievement, after several years of engineering activities carried out together with its European partners.

As the photos hereunder show, the CIMR team was fully aligned, not only on the Instrument design, but also on the dress code! 🙂
