From October 1 to 4, the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona hosted the 114th edition of the Concurso de Saltos Internacional de Barcelona (CSIO), Spain’s oldest international sporting event and a benchmark on the global equestrian calendar, which staged the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Longines League of Nations Final.
This edition represented the on-site execution of the collaboration agreement signed last March between the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona Foundation and Tennium. The partnership combined the organizational history of the Barcelona institution with Tennium’s expertise in developing premium sports events, aimed at further strengthening the tournament’s international positioning and elevating the experience offered to the public, guests, and brands.
Within this framework, the collaboration focused on the agreed strategic areas of hospitality, commercial operations and sponsorship, and the fan zone. In corporate hospitality, the company’s contribution included launching the new Centenary Club CaixaBank space, grandstand and VIP box management, and daily operations across the Pool Lounge and Sala Olimpia. On the commercial front, efforts centered on sponsor relations, prospecting potential new partners, and supervising brand activations throughout the venue. Tennium also developed several comms and marketing activations as well as new collaborations with global brands such as Soho House.
Team Germany claimed the title in the FEI Longines League of Nations team final, led by world No. 1 Richard Vogel aboard Cloudio. Competition highlights also included victories by Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza in the City of Barcelona Grand Prix – Calvet 75th Anniversary Trophy and Germany’s Marcus Ehning in the Copa de SM la Reina, alongside Spain’s Sira Martínez competing as an official CSIO ambassador and athlete.
With the successful delivery of CSIO Barcelona 2026, Tennium completes its first project beyond tennis, consolidating its position in the premium sports events segment as a trusted strategic partner capable of delivering value and operational excellence across the international sporting calendar.
