Barcelona, May 27, 2026 – Tennium has signed a collaboration agreement with RCD Espanyol to support the development and optimization of the Club’s matchday business at RCDE Stadium, marking a new milestone in Tennium’s expansion across the sports events industry and its growing presence in sports business operations.

The agreement, which will remain in force until the end of the 2026/2027 season, reinforces Tennium’s strategy of extending its expertise beyond tournament organization and major event delivery, bringing its experience in premium sports experiences and commercial development into the stadium environment.

As part of the collaboration, Tennium will provide strategic advisory services and operational support to RCD Espanyol in the implementation, development and optimization of its matchday business model. The project will cover key areas including hospitality, ticketing and food & beverage, with the overall objective of enhancing fan experience while maximizing matchday revenues.

A key pillar of the partnership will be the transformation of the Club’s VIP proposition. Tennium will support RCD Espanyol in redesigning its existing hospitality offering, developing new products and working alongside the commercial team to strengthen their go-to-market strategy and commercial performance.

The collaboration is also aligned with a broader investment plan promoted by RCD Espanyol focused on the creation and refurbishment of hospitality areas within RCDE Stadium. These developments aim to expand and diversify the venue’s offering for companies, sponsors and supporters by introducing more exclusive, comfortable and personalized experiences in line with the standards of leading European sports venues.

Additionally, the agreement will contribute to enhancing the stadium’s food & beverage proposition through improvements to catering services and the introduction of a wider premium offering designed to elevate the overall guest experience.

Together, these initiatives aim to strengthen RCDE Stadium’s positioning not only as a leading venue for football matches, but also as a destination for corporate and social events.

Kristoff Puelinckx, CEO of Tennium, said:

“This agreement represents an important opportunity to continue expanding Tennium’s role in business development projects for sports clubs, bringing our experience in major events into the stadium environment. We strongly believe that matchday operations represent a key growth driver for clubs and we look forward to helping unlock its full potential together with RCD Espanyol.”

Mao Ye Wu, CEO of RCD Espanyol, added:

“The Club always aims to work with the best partners. This agreement represents a strategic step in our commitment to continue modernizing our matchday operations. We are convinced that this collaboration will help maximize the potential of RCDE Stadium and contribute to building a stronger and more sustainable business model for the future of RCD Espanyol.”

This collaboration further strengthens Tennium’s position within the sports events ecosystem and reflects the company’s continued diversification across tournament operations, venue management, hospitality experiences and strategic advisory projects.
