Paris, France | May 15, 2025. Almar Water Solutions participated in the Global Water Summit 2025 as a Silver Sponsor, continuing a tradition of engagement and support that dates back to the event’s inception. Held from 12 to 14 May in Paris, the summit once again brought together decision-makers from industry, government, finance, and international water operators to explore pathways toward sustainable water management. As part of its participation, Almar Water Solutions hosted an exhibition space that attracted numerous professionals from across the sector, offering a platform to exchange knowledge, present its latest projects, and strengthen alliances with strategic partners.

Throughout the event, Almar Water Solutions reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, public-private collaboration, and the development of resilient water infrastructure. On Wednesday, 14 May, members of the company’s leadership team actively contributed to strategic conversations shaping the future of the industry:

• Arantxa Mencía, Vice President of Global Business Development, participated in the session titled “New Frontiers in Private Finance”. The panel explored the growing global need for private investment in water infrastructure, particularly beyond traditional markets such as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Drawing on Almar’s international experience, Arantxa shared insights into innovative concession models, blended finance mechanisms, and key success factors for scalable project delivery, highlighting the Centinela Water System as a successful case of private financing in industrial water infrastructure.

• She also took part in the “Closing Plenary: Next Steps”, a forward-looking session that reflected on the summit’s key takeaways and outlined future industry priorities. Arantxa emphasized the urgent need for cross-sector collaboration, the importance of innovation, and the pivotal role of private sector leadership in addressing global water security.

• Felipe Guinea, Director of Structured Finance, was invited to join a private panel co-organized by AquaFed during the summit, focused on how operators, investors, and partners can collectively support governments and public authorities in expanding PPP project pipelines. With confirmed participation from the World Bank and representatives from development financing institutions, the panel examined the factors driving accelerated PPP project development in certain regions, and how those strategies can be extended to other geographies. Felipe contributed expert perspectives on financial structuring and collaborative approaches to unlocking long-term, sustainable project development.

The Global Water Summit has long served as a platform for Almar Water Solutions to engage with key stakeholders and advance the global conversation on sustainable water infrastructure. The company remains deeply committed to delivering long-term, climate-resilient solutions that meet the needs of communities, industries, and ecosystems.
