Tennium player Marketa Vondrousova claimed her third career Hologic WTA Tour title, and second on grass, at the 2025 Berlin Tennis Open by HYLO. Unseeded and ranked No.164, the Czech star defeated reigning Grand Slam champions Madison Keys and Aryna Sabalenka before sealing the title with a hard-fought 7-6(10), 4-6, 6-2 win over Wang Xinyu in the final.
This victory marks a significant comeback for the former Wimbledon champion, who had been sidelined for most of the past year due to shoulder surgery and a recurrence of the same injury earlier in 2025. Berlin is her first title since her unforgettable Wimbledon triumph in 2023.
