For nearly five decades, UBE Composites Europe has developed engineering plastics that meet the demanding requirements of the Electric & Electronics (E&E) sector. These materials are designed to withstand temperature fluctuations, mechanical stress, electrical loads, and strict safety regulations, enabling reliable solutions for household devices, industrial systems, energy distribution, and e-mobility.

The portfolio includes Dinalon® PA6 and PA66, offering grades with halogen-free flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, impact modification, lubrication, and glass-fibre reinforcement. These materials are used in components such as socket bases, connection blocks, switches, water heaters, vacuum cleaners, and structural parts for consumer and industrial electronics.

For applications requiring higher dimensional stability and thermal resistance, Dinadur® PBT compounds provide excellent flowability, chemical resistance, and flame-retardant options suited for EV charger housings, lamp holders, motor components, and compact appliance parts.

Blended materials under the Dinablend® PC/ABS and PC/PBT family combine toughness, UV resistance, and flame retardancy, supporting products such as electrical cabinets, rigid pipes, alarm housings, and systems exposed to outdoor conditions.

Lightweight yet robust solutions come from Dinaplen® PP, with halogen-free FR grades, UV stabilization, and mineral or glass-fibre reinforcement. These compounds are ideal for cable conduits, appliance housings, profiles, and other components requiring durability and ease of processing.

For applications prioritizing transparency and surface aesthetics, Dinaxan® PC offers optical clarity, impact resistance, and customizable appearance, frequently used in luminaires, kitchen appliances, covers, and protective housings.

Complementing these materials, Eternalast® TPU delivers flexibility, hydrolysis resistance, and flame retardancy for e-mobility connectors, busbars, EV charging plugs, and components exposed to moisture, vibration, and thermal stress.
