On December 17th and 18th, Pablo Vicente Legazpi from the Building Digital Twin Association delivered a training course on the design, implementation, and execution of SIMBOT-based simulation models for key components in the data centres of the HyCool-IT and DYMAN projects, using the ECOSIMPRO software from Empresarios Agrupados. The training took place at IDP Ingeniería’s headquarters as part of the necessary knowledge transfer to integrate SIMBOT simulation into the Digital Twin platform that IDP is developing within the framework of these two important European projects. The scalability and export capabilities of these solutions will allow for modelling, simulation, and optimization of the thermal performance of both existing and future data centres through predictive (MPC) control and a simulation model tracking system (SMTS), representing an expert and sustainable approach in a rapidly growing sector.

Hycool IT project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement No. 101138623.
