Barcelona, 2025 – Tennium continues to consolidate its position as a leading international sports management company in 2025, a year defined by strategic growth, geographic expansion and key milestones across professional tennis.

The company remains actively involved in the organization and delivery of top-tier events on the ATP and WTA calendars, including the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell (ATP 500)Bitpanda Hamburg Open (ATP 500)IEB+ Argentina Open (ATP 250)WTA 125 tournaments, and the BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia , reinforcing its long-term commitment to excellence in event management.

One of the major developments of the season is the relocation of the Hopman Cup to Bari, marking the first international tennis tournament ever held in the Puglia region. This strategic move opens a new chapter for the historic mixed-team competition and represents a significant milestone for international tennis in southern Italy.

Additionally, the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open is staged for the first time in Brussels, following a successful ten-year period in Antwerp. The transition highlights Tennium’s ability to evolve established events and expand their reach to new host cities and audiences.

In 2025, Tennium also strengthens its commitment to women’s tennis with the expansion of its tournament portfolio in South America, adding:

  • Luján, Argentina – Two ITF W15 tournaments (September 14–21 & 21–28)
  • Rio Ladies Open – WTA 125 (October 13–19)
  • Tucumán Open by McDonald’s – WTA 125 (November 3–9)
  • Quito Open – WTA 125 (December 1–7)

These additions reflect Tennium’s strategic focus on developing competitive opportunities and increasing visibility for women’s tennis across key international markets.

In Europe, the calendar also grows with the addition of the Open Internacional de San Sebastián (WTA 125), further strengthening Tennium’s portfolio of WTA events and its presence in Spain. More than 300,000 fans have attended Tennium’s events in 2025, highlighting the company’s impact in bringing top-level tennis to audiences worldwide.

On the player representation side, Tennium continues to strengthen its roster with the addition of Sebastián Báez, former ATP World No. 18. During the 2025 season, nine Tennium-represented players competed at Wimbledon and the US Open, underlining the company’s strong and consistent presence at Grand Slam level.

All these milestones coincide with a significant corporate achievement: Tennium celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025. Over the past decade, the company has built a solid international footprint through innovation, strategic partnerships and a clear vision for the future of global tennis.
