This year marks a major milestone for Tennium, the global tennis platform that has spent the past decade shaping the sport across continents. Founded in 2015 by Kristoff Puelinckx and former French tennis player Sébastien Grosjean, Tennium has grown into one of the key players in professional tennis — a decade defined by excellence, growth, innovation, and international expansion.

A Decade of Milestones

Tennium’s first major step came in Belgium with the creation of the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open (ATP 250), which also celebrated its 10th edition this year. The tournament, now firmly established on the ATP calendar, reached a new chapter in 2025 with its first edition in Brussels, attracting record media attention and attendance.

Tennium extended its footprint with the IEB Argentina Open (ATP 250 and WTA 125), which has become a key stop on the South American tennis calendar, showcasing both local and international talent in Buenos Aires.

A defining moment came with Tennium’s successful bid to organize the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, one of the most prestigious ATP 500 tournaments. The victory — achieved against powerful competitors such as IMG and Kosmos, led by Gerard Piqué — cemented Tennium’s reputation as a trusted and professional global tennis platform.

The company also created its player management division, representing legends such as Richard Gasquet, current top players including Wimbledon champion Markéta Vondroušová, and some of the most promising young talents on the international circuit.

In recent years, Tennium has further consolidated its position as a trusted partner of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) through the successful organization of the Davis Cup Finals (2023 and 2024) and the Billie Jean King Cup Finals (2024) in Málaga.

Over the past few years, the group has continued to expand its portfolio with the Hamburg Open and the revival of the legendary Hopman Cup, while also growing its presence in women’s tennis through multiple WTA events in Europe and South America.

A Global Team and Vision

Headquartered in Barcelona, Tennium now counts over 50 professionals working across offices in Argentina, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, and Dubai.

Tennium’s vision remains clear: to bring together the different areas of the tennis industry under one synergistic platform — from tournament organization and event licensing to player management, consultancy, and corporate events.

As Tennium celebrates its 10th anniversary, its achievements over the past decade stand as a testament to its commitment to excellence, global reach, and passion for sport.

The next chapter will bring new projects, new destinations, and new sports, as Tennium keeps expanding and raising the bar for excellence.
