LE GRAND MAG returns as Media Partner of the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad, taking place from 20–23 August 2026 in one of the most distinctive settings on the international polo calendar.
For its 21st edition, the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad brings top-level polo back to its celebrated grass ground beside Gstaad Airport, framed by the Swiss Alps. The tournament has established a singular position on the European circuit: technically exacting on the field, yet deliberately understated beyond it.
At the centre of that reputation is the playing surface itself. Tournament organiser Pierre E. Genecand personally oversees the preparation of the ground, with particular attention to consistency, suppleness and safety for the ponies — fundamentals that become decisive at this level of the sport.
Competition will once again be led by returning team captains Markus Gräff, Fabio and Luca Meier, Juan Pepa and Rupert Knauf, joined by leading Argentine and English professionals. The result is a compact four-day tournament in which sporting quality remains the defining measure.
Beyond the chukkas, Gstaad has developed an equally distinctive culture around the event: the team parade through the village, its established hospitality programme and Saturday’s gala dinner have become part of the tournament’s identity without displacing the polo itself.
With Hublot as title sponsor, alongside Kielder, Albinati Aeronautics and Gstaad Palace, the 2026 edition continues a formula refined over more than two decades rather than reinvented from season to season.
LE GRAND MAG is proud to continue its role as Media Partner of the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad 2026.
