We’re proud of our contribution to the ESA Workshop on Aerospace Electro Magnetic Compatibility this year with a presentation on the #MagneticCleanliness approach for ESA’s #CometInterceptor mission.

Our paper outlines the magnetic requirements of the mission’s fluxgate magnetometers, which are critical for studying the characteristics of long-period #comets or interstellar objects.

We shared our approach to ensure the performances of the magnetometers through specific testing, analysis, and mitigation strategies.

This work reflects our commitment to the success of this scientific mission, ensuring that Comet Interceptor instruments perform in line with the expectations to make this mission a success.
